DOT Traffic Signal Upgrade- Installed new fiber optic cabling, splicing, and terminations for new and existing traffic control and surveillance systems for IDOT, LCDOT and CDOT LCDOT traffic signal communications and video systems.
Positive Train Control System- Installation and splicing of over 1.3 million feet of new fiber optic cable for the signaling and control of the new high speed rail. Included the installation of new fiber terminal equipment at signal cabins and certification testing.
Disney World Monorail - Installed new fiber plant to control upgraded train controls.
Kennedy Reversible Lanes- Installed new fiber optic cable along the highway and spliced into controllers and Dynamic Message Signs that operate the automated reversible lanes

O’Hare Runway 9C-27C- Installed new fiber plant, terminated and tested for
new runway controls at O’Hare International Airport.
O’ Hare Airport Runway and Airfield Lighting- Installed and spliced new fiber optics cables throughout the airfield from control buildings to runways, airfield light controls and Air Towers.
Port of Oakland FITS Project- Surveyed and troubleshoot existing Fiber System in port and then installed new fiber plant throughout the Port to control cameras, sensors and other cargo tracking devices.
VA DOT ITS upgrades- Provided temporary fiber and Installed and spliced in new fiber for state highway ITS controls upgrades. Included cutting over existing fiber plant and over building new system
FAA Airfield fiber upgrades- Surveyed and repaired existing damaged fiber plant and installed new fiber plant to operate airfield control systems for the FAA at various airports including LAX, ORD and Midway.
Chicago Transit Authority “L” train Blue Line- Installed new fiber plant as part of upgrading of the 100 plus year old CTA “L” train blue line. Fiber was installed on live rails as the train could not be taken out of service.
SFO People Mover- Installed new fiber plant as part of upgrade to San Francisco Airport’s People mover that shuttles travelers between terminals and Parking structures.
Municipal Fiber Networks- Completed numerous new fiber networks constructed by municipalities so they can have fiber interconnections between public buildings, Including Chicago Public schools, Detroit Public Schools, Palatine, Niles and Rosemont, IL municipal Networks.
Wind Farm Controls System- At the Muncie and Lafayette, IN wind farms, were asked to accelerate the installation of fiber plant from controls houses to individual wind mills. Installed, spliced and turned up 376,000 feet of fiber in 12 days.
Datacenter Interconnect- Completed a ring between two large centers in downtown Chicago. Installed and terminated high count fiber cables between the building, which included crossing the Chicago riber twice, once in the abandoned trolly tunnel and the other in the abandoned Coal freight tunnels
Level 3/Century Link Long Haul Rebuild - Installed new fiber into existing 20 year old ductbank from Cleveland to Chicago to Madison, WI. The installation took place on a combination of rights of way including Rail, Highways, congested city streets, freight tunnels and a State Bike path.
AT&T Long Haul Lightguide - Installed and spliced 180,000 feet of new fiber in existing cross country Fiber on Rural and Urban rights of way.
Comed Substation Interconnection - Installed fiber optic cables on Comed Poles and through new and existing ComEd underground infrastructure while adhering to ComEd's extremely aggressive schedule and strict working conditions. Installed spliced and tested over 546,050’ of cable”
Fiber Audit - Verified existing conduit and fiber network auditing hundreds of sites across 4 counties in Southern California.
McHenry County - Installed new fiber backbone to public office buildings and schools throughout county to provide a new closed network.
PBC Public Security System - Installed and spliced new fiber optic plant in existing conduit to service public security cameras and environmental sensors throughout Chicago.
Great Lakes Naval Station - Installed a new campus wide fiber backbone and installed, tested and turned up new transport network for the base communications.
Small Cell Deployment - Installed fiber optic cabling as part of a multi node deployment throughout Chicago splicing fibers into new and existing backbones. Provided certification testing of fibers at new nodes and troubleshot the existing network when necessary in order to provide connectivity to nodes.
Radio Tests and Turn up - Back tested fibers and performed PIM and Sweep tests at small cell nodes.
PICO provisioning - Installed some new fiber and utilized existing fibers to splice in a new network for a Series of PICO Sites
Illinois Tollway Fiber Program- Over several years installed and removed multiple fiber cables on the Illinois Tollways I-390, I-90, I-294, I-88. To Date we have installed over 1,300,014’ of new cable, Demo out 497, 299’ of abandoned cable and removed existing 371, 050’ of Fiber Cable to be reused. Installations were in underground conduit and Aerial applications.
